Fortune Names 100 Best Companies to Work For
Google sits atop Fortune's list this year. Why? Perhaps, according to CNN.com, it's because the Silicon
Valley wonder offers employees "free meals, swimming spa, and free doctors onsite. Engineers can spend 20% of time on independent projects."
Milestone: This marks my 200th post.

Nice work making it to 200, Lewis! You must be approaching many thousand if you include the comments you write all over the web!
Google sounds like my kind of organisation ;) Free meals? When would I find the time to blog?

first of all, 200 is a great achievement. not only for the number itself but for the inner quality. and gavin is right about the real number of great contribution you spread around the blogosphere. unfortunately, as a non us citizen, i can only wonder how would be great to work for any of these top 100.

Hmm...why didn't "you" show up on the list? Looks like Fortune is bucking the trend...

Pete,
Thank God! Can you believe it? An editorial board stepping up to the plate and doing the right thing.

Gavin and Gianandrea,
Thank you for your friendship and kindness. Free food. Man, there goes whatever is left of my waistline.
